An opaque login identifier; tokens stay on the server. Up to 24 hours, or until logout.

storyspark_google

Secures and links your Google sign-in or password recovery attempt to this browser. Up to 10 minutes; cleared when the callback is handled.

storyspark_privacy

Remembers whether you declined or allowed optional product measurement. 180 days.

storyspark_journey

Only after you allow product measurement: a signed random identifier linking journey steps for 30 minutes. HttpOnly, first-party; cleared when you withdraw consent.

Remembers your English or Hebrew interface preference. Up to one year; updated when you switch languages.

storyspark_theme

Remembers whether you chose the original or dream visual theme. Up to one year; updated when you switch themes.

These are first-party cookies with SameSite protections. The access and privacy cookies are HttpOnly; the language preference is readable by the interface so it can switch languages immediately. Secure is used over HTTPS; local development runs on HTTP. They are not used for advertising. We do not store optional tracking identifiers in local storage.

Essential browser storage keeps your unfinished story choices with a 24-hour expiry so they survive registration and email confirmation in another tab on this browser and site address. Signed-in drafts are associated with your account and are cleared on logout or successful generation. Expired drafts are discarded when this form next checks browser storage. A pending request identifier remains until you recover or dismiss that request; it helps avoid accidental repeat generation. No passwords or provider tokens are stored there. You can remove these records by clearing this site’s browser data.

Optional product measurement stays off until you allow it. It records known page types, creation and reading steps, and fixed error categories in Supabase, with language, broad screen-size category, durations and a random 30-minute journey ID. It does not record typed values or story text. Declining or withdrawing does not affect story creation. Server operational logs remain separate. Browser blocking and consent choices mean funnel reports cover only a subset of visits.

Google and Supabase may set cookies on their own domains when you use their sign-in flows. Their policies govern those cookies; this preference controls StorySpark’s own implementation. We do not embed marketing widgets.
